District weighs turf replacement at Memorial Stadium
USD 457 faces a discussion on synthetic turf for Memorial Stadium with a capital outlay funded plan. The district would oversee bids and finance, with USD 457 paying about 100000 yearly for four years and partnering groups reimbursing the district if approved. The project aims to reduce maintenance costs and expand field use for football soccer band and PE while safeguarding practice fields amid church property considerations.
