In Hutchinson, Bill Barnes tends 5200 cattle on the 108000 acre Morton County Cimarron National Grassland. A lifelong range rider and manager, he learned from his father and loves the open prairie. Drought treks challenge the herd as Barnes eyes a grandson beginning to ride beside him.
