Woman claims priest fathered two children in Mexico
Blanca Lara Gutierrez said the late Rev. Marcial Maciel, founder of the Legionaries of Christ, led a double life and fathered two children with her while posing as a private investigator and CIA agent. She met him in Tijuana in the 1970s. The sons, Jose Raul and Omar, allege years of abuse. Vatican and order officials offered no immediate comment.
