Montezuma mourns Ethel Withers 89 longtime resident dies
Ethel Edith Withers 89 of Montezuma and formerly Pierceville died March 2 2002 at St. Catherine Hospital Garden City. Born June 29 1912 in Gray County she was a homemaker and Salem Mennonite Church member. Survived by five sons one daughter two sisters and numerous grandchildren great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Funeral at Salem Mennonite Church Copeland with burial there. Memorials to Bethel Home Inc Montezuma or Hope For Haiti. Private graveside service for Leon Dawson 72 held in Valley View Cemetery Garden City. Dawson a former radar observer and pilot in the U S Air Force died Feb. 28 2002. Memorials to Finney County Humane Society.
