In his 20th and final season Glenn ONeil guided the Scott City Beavers to a 57-23 rout of Lyons in the Class 3A sub state quarterfinal. Senior Dylan Hutchins led scoring with 10 in the first quarter and Drake McRae added six points with five rebounds as Scott City, the No. 1 seed at 16-8, dominated early and held Lyons to a season-ending 5-16. The Beavers committed just seven turnovers and emphasized defense and ball movement as they advance toward the semis.
