Guns Draw Crowds at Sand and Sage Collectors Show
The Sand and Sage show in Marion draws about 3,000 attendees over the weekend with firearms as the main draw. Vendors like Mike Ragland of Flint Hills Firearms and Retrievers report steady sales and firm sticker prices, while fossil dealer Orlen Borell notes high value fakes and warns buyers on weight. Vietnam Veterans of America Inc. representative Jim Moore promotes veteran support at a dedicated table, highlighting the event as a venue for both commerce and community service.
