Fishing Lights Attract Crappie In Lake Exploration
After lights set, use light action rod and one eighth ounce white or yellow jigs to fish. Wait for bait fish, drop jig to bottom, pump slowly, and hold on. Best in water up to 15 feet, may work deeper. Plan to test this at Clark S.P.L. this summer for crappie and report results. If floating lights appear, join in to check the activity and possibly fill stringers.
