Arrest in Texas tied to Garden City gang probe Operation Frontline
Victor Guzman of Amarillo was arrested in Amarillo on a Finney County warrant for aggravated battery and incitement to riot. The man identified in Operation Frontline, which has produced 29 arrests tied to a local gang, remains jailed in Potter County with extradition hearings next week. Fire at Abengoa hay yard near Moscow finally under control
A May 28 fire near Moscow destroyed about 38 000 hay bales. Abengoa Bioenergy crews have burned and spread piles since June 5 to uncover hot spots. Stevens County and Moscow fire departments handed control to Abengoa on June 5. Executive VP Chris Standlee said the team will continue to spread and grate material to ensure no remaining hotspots. The fire is out though some smoldering areas required careful handling and cooling.
