Mendel’s science and faith spotlight at Villanova year
Villanova University, an Augustinian Catholic college near Philadelphia, declares the Year of Mendel this fall. An exhibit on Gregor Mendel runs at the Academy of Natural Sciences, alongside the Mendel Medal honoring scientists who balance faith and science. A two day symposium, Mendel in the 21st Century, kicks off, and a campus sustainability initiative plus the Mendel Science Center are highlighted.
