Civil Defense Lacks Government and Public Backing
Kansas City AP reports Civil Defense remains underfunded and underutilized. Rep. Industry leaders urge private leadership to reduce federal reliance and consider protected movement via shielded trains for postattack survival. A Niagara Falls Canada side tower project is also noted.
