Journey to the Cross Camp blends rodeo with faith in Garden City
Sixty youth aged 10 to 19 attended the Journey to the Cross Fellowship of Christian Cowboys Rodeo Bible Camp at F Diamond Arena. The event, now in its fifth year, combines scripture teaching with rodeo instruction led by about 40 volunteers, drawing attendees from Kansas and states including Colorado Texas and Oklahoma.

Neighbors area resident, Mrs. Larson of Garden City since 1941, rides in a combine with her son Andrew Larson in a front end loader assisting the operator. She began farming life after moving to the farm property in 1963 and came to Dodge City in 1932 following Baker University graduation.
