Welfare reform law delayed in Kansas by six months
The Kansas Department for Children and Families says enforcement of a welfare reform law will be delayed at least six months, including a $25 a day ATM withdrawal limit. A computer software fix and reprogramming by Fidelity National Information Services are required. Also postponed are TANF debit card photo IDs and a plan to cut TANF lifetime eligibility from 48 to 36 months, with a six month grace period.
