GCCC Trustees Hold Special Meeting With No Action
Garden City Community College Board of Trustees held a Wednesday special meeting that included a 30 minute closed session with six trustees and attorney Randy Grisell. No action was taken in open session, and the group adjourned. The next meeting on July 14 plans to elect new officers and review the 2010-11 budget.

Holcomb to pay for planning services
Holcomb will begin paying for planning and inspection services from Garden City’s Planning and Community Development Department. The phased-in annual payments start at 12,000 this year and rise to 42,000 by 2014 to cover inspections zoning and appeals review. The move follows growing demand and unified services with Garden City Finney County.
