Southern Baptists push affinity churches for the unchurched
In Nashville a Baptist convention showcases niche churches appealing to cowboy and biker heritage. Pastor Don Martin leads Happy Trails Cowboy Church in Taylorsville North Carolina, meeting in a rodeo arena with 11 members and 41 partners. The movement aims to attract people by matching passions such as golf bluegrass and generation X, while preserving a biblical message.
