Center opens migrant Head Start at St James Church
UMOS will run a 45 child migrant Head Start center at St James Church in Garden City Kansas the first in Kansas with plans for Great Bend and another site. The program runs July through August from 7 a.m. to 7 or 8 p.m. serving children ages 1 to 5 with English nutrition and cognitive social skills at no cost to qualifying families.
