Miller's Lawrence Raid Still Divides Jurors After Four Months
Lawrence Kansas remains divided as only eight of 33 raided suspects have resolved cases since the February 26 sweep led by Attorney General Vern Miller. Two defendants pleaded guilty in district court, others were dismissed or await trial, with 15 slated for jury trials this fall to gauge evidence obtained during the raids.
