Eugene Stoeckly 93 a former Garden City resident died of a stroke Tuesday May 22 2001 at Mercy South Hospital Fairfield Ohio He helped launch the jet age with General Electric Aircraft Engines earning nearly 50 patents and later moved to Wyoming Ohio He and his wife Roberta Bailor moved to Maple Knoll Village in 1991 Services have been conducted Donated remains to University of Cincinnati Memorials suggested to Wyoming Presbyterian Church or Maple Knoll Future Fund
