Suit seeks to take Sunset Memorial Gardens for county control

Rezone Hearings Planned By Garden City Planning Commission
The Holcomb Garden City Finney County Planning Commission meets at 9 a m Thursday in the Garden City Administrative Center commission room. Four rezonings are on the agenda including three acres on Lincoln Rd from agriculture to industrial and 29 acres near Burnside Drive from industrial to multi family. Also two acres at 2315 N 8th from single family to multi family and continued review of zoning ordinance changes. A preliminary plat for 350 acres near Garden City Airport for residential use will be reviewed, and a Wichita developer requests an 80 acre site three miles west for a mobile home park.
