Kansas officials sort through new district lines
Kansas officials say it will take weeks to determine voters districts after a federal panel redrew state maps for House Senate education and four U S House seats. The 206 page order opened four Senate seats and 25 House seats and paired many incumbents. Sedgwick County estimates over 800 district changes and more than 265000 voters may receive change notices. The secretary of state will compile shifts on a district finder site though it may be temporarily offline during updates.
