Finney County Considers Extra EMS Crew Budget Request
Finney County Emergency Medical Services Director Bob Prewitt will ask the county commission for an extra six full time personnel to handle rising emergency call loads. The 2010 budget proposal shows two options: with expansion total about 1.99 million dollars, or without expansion about 1.70 million. The plan could add shifts starting July 2010 as logistics allow, with the EMS currently maxed on manpower on busy days. The hearing is scheduled 8:30 a.m. Monday at the Finney County Administrative Center.
