Jennings fires pre emptive strike on KS Chamber PAC
State Rep. J Russell Jennings faces a Chamber of Commerce PAC challenge in the 122nd House District as the group backs business executive Stan Rice over Jennings. The PAC, which spent over 865000 in 2012 on campaign materials, promotes free market policies. Jennings notes past votes against renewable energy portfolio standards and an insurance industry favored law change, while Rice has not voted on record. The PAC also backs other Reno County incumbents and open-seat candidates, signaling broader GOP alignment ahead of all 125 House seats up for election.
