The Agriculture Department reports that while food prices rose bread, milk and meat could be bought with one hour of wages at higher levels than 25 years earlier. In 1950 a factory worker could buy 10.1 pounds of white bread per hour and 7.5 quarts of milk, 2.4 dozen eggs, and 1.9 pounds of pork chops. by 1974 those amounts increased to 12.8 pounds of bread 1.2 quarts of milk 5.6 dozen eggs and 2.8 pounds of pork chops, with other items like frying chickens and butter also rising.

Go Getters 4 H Club Spreads Child Safety Booklets
The Go Getters 4 H Club distributed 300 copies of a child safety booklet titled Kids Will Be Kids to new mothers at St Catherine's Hospital.
