Senior Center To Spotlight Flag Display And Activities
The Senior Center will host a week long 25 foot flag exhibit honoring U S military personnel with World War II flags among others. A Flag Day program includes patriotic music by Gwen Frack and Dorothy Hawkins, a talk by Don Blackman, and lunch at noon. Various daily activities follow including fitness classes, crafts, bridge, health services, and a Smithsonian traveling exhibit on aprons titled Key Ingredients with a program June 26 featuring Dr Michaeline Chance Reay at Kansas State University.
