Low Protein Content May Hurt U S Wheat Sales

Kansas State University expert warns some U S wheat now has protein levels too low for premium pricing. France and other buyers seek higher protein wheat, prompting a crash program to raise protein by small annual increments through farmer education and on site protein testing during the 1976 harvest with a protein van visiting three locations.
