Rain and storm reports across Kansas with warm forecast
National Weather Service data show scattered rainfall in western Kansas with totals from 0.11 to 1.28 inches at multiple locations, including Garden City, Tribune, and Satanta. Forecast calls for mostly sunny skies around 80 degrees, with a chance of showers after 8 p.m. in some areas. In Topeka, lawmakers dispute labeling the tax bill as a tax increase, arguing the measure funds broader reform and offsets prior cuts.
