The First Meee church hosts vacation Bible school with an open house and pupil handicrafts display. Final day is June 18 with sixth grade promotion and weekly junior high classes at 6:90 p.m. Tuesday all school picnic planned. A movie of school activities will be shown. Sunday morning service features "Tender Grapes and Little Foxes" by Rev. William Travis. evening program at 7:30 with Rev. Harry Operman Jr. from Western Kansas delivering messages and convention slides.
A series promoting family life topics runs Sunday to Tuesday July 15 1547 at 8 p.m. in Fellowship Hall. It covers building emotional climate time management devotion planning and vacations with discussions and role playing. Friday marks the final day of 1989 vacation church school at St James Lutheran with theme Be Gods People for ages three through sixth grade and a program for mentally challenged youth is nearing completion. Daily sessions run 8:45 to 11:30 a.m. Monday through Friday with Inter ex youth invited to attend.
