Snake Handler Bit By Tiger Snake Returns Home
Kenneth Earnest, 22, a professional snake handler, was bitten by a tiger snake on May 17 while feeding snakes at his Buena Park home. He survived after five doctors treated him with serum from the San Diego Zoo and extensive blood transfusions. He spent 10 days in an iron lung and was released to recover at home with his parents, vowing it won’t happen again.
