Larry Lamar Dikeman 69 of Syracuse Kansas died June 1 2003 at University of Colorado Medical Center Denver from leukemia complications He was born October 14 1933 in Pratt Kansas He married Carol Lenore O Connor in Denver in 1951 He is survived by his wife two sons a daughter and several siblings and grandchildren He served on multiple boards and church committees and was a lifelong farmer Funeral services were set for 2 pm MDT Friday at First United Methodist Church Syracuse with burial at Syracuse Cemetery Memorials were directed to the church or CU Cancer Center Larry Dikeman Memorial Dighton Irene Jewett 94 dies June 3 2003 arrangements to be announced by Boomhower Funeral Home Daily Pick 3 5 7 9.

Opal Ruth Drussel 93 died June 1 2003 at her Garden City home. Born July 26 1909 at Vassar she married Grady Price in 1930 and Arthur R Drussel in 1960. She lived on a Finney Kearny county farm then worked as a secretary at Culligan. Survived by daughter Beverly Kepple sister Eileen Graham granddaughter and multiple great grandchildren. Memorial service June 6 at Garland Funeral Home officiated by Rev Charles West with private burial. Memorials to American Heart Association or American Diabetes Association care of the funeral home.
