Beef Empire Days Weekend Highlights In Garden City
A weekend of Beef Empire Days events kicks off Friday with a children's story hour at Finney County Public Library and a Beef Dinner and Auction at Plaza Inn. Saturday features a book sale, parades, a garden district food and music event, tennis and horseshoe tournaments, and a Lund concert. Sunday includes cowboy church, roping and racing, a 3 on 3 basketball Frenzy, and a free ice cream social at the library with a food exhibit. USDA farmer's market runs Saturday morning, and a historic homes tour showcases four early 20th century residences with tickets benefiting local groups.
