Presbyterians Shift to 9 30 Worship Hours This Summer
The First Presbyterian Church will start a summer schedule with a 9 30 a.m. sanctuary service to encourage full family attendance. Nursery care continues for children, and June to August will feature cathedral motion pictures for teaching. The change replaces the 11 a.m. service and aims for family participation at 9 30 a.m. and home by 10 30 a.m. The plan follows input from church school leaders, and introduces a festival of films praised nationally for education. Robert College in Turkey, founded a century ago by a New York businessman, serves predominantly Turkish students.
