Kenseth's simple approach fuels late 2003 Indy title run
Kenseth holds a 232 point lead entering the Brickyard 400 at Indianapolis as he pursues a potential rout in the 2003 Winston Cup standings. The Cambridge Wisconsin native stresses staying even tempered, noting many things can go wrong while he keeps focus on steady progress and avoiding hype. Born to racer Roy Kenseth, he rose through Wisconsin short tracks to NASCAR with Roush racing, earning a rookie Coca Cola 600 win in 2000 and a sprint of five wins last season.
