Koehn, a homemaker, leaves four sons, a daughter-in-law, a sister, many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Both services set for July 2002 in Montezuma and Garden City with memorials to local care facilities.

Teen charged in fatal Fort Scott stabbing over $20 debt

A Missouri father and son, Kim Shepard 27 and George Shepard 51 of Thayer, were found guilty by a US District Court jury of 18 counts of money laundering for faked wage and rental payments on a KN Energy pipeline project in Liberal. George faced 24 counts of money laundering plus transport of stolen goods. Losses totaled about 173000 dollars with KN Energy suffering 143000 from laundering and 30000 from stolen property.
