GCCC Aims New Physical Therapy Assistant Program
The Colby Community College district plans a fall 2010 start for its own physical therapy assistant program aided by a Title V grant. Expansion of the Penka Building and Warren House Science & Math Building, a $4.7 million project, will be funded with $500,000 from the Erdene Corley Trust, about $14 million in tax credits, and roughly $200,000 annually from the general fund. The college also expands allied health space and resources, including a respiratory therapy lab, while continuing shared respiratory therapy and EMT instruction with Seward County and Dodge City colleges.
