Leonard G. Enslow 84 Lakin resident and veteran dies
Leonard G. Enslow age 84 of Lakin Kansas died July 6 2005 at his home. Born May 7 1921 in Hartland Township he served in the US Army 1942 to 1945 earning a Bronze Star Purple Heart European Theatre and Good Conduct medal. He worked as a mail carrier and farmer and served as a city council member. Survived by wife Della Cole four daughters ten grandchildren four great grandchildren two sisters and multiple inlaws. Funeral at United Methodist Church Lakin with private burial at Lakin Cemetery and Fort Riley Honor Guard graveside rites. Visitation today 4-8 pm Saturday 9 am-8 pm Garnand Funeral Home Lakin. Memorials to Methodist Church Scholarship Fund.
