Blues fall twice as bats go quiet against Great Bend
Garden City Blues were held to 11 hits in a 2-1 loss of game one and a 6-3 defeat in game two at Williams Stadium. Grayson Burgardt fired three singles and two RBIs while pitcher Jarrod King earned a save after six solid innings. Great Bend mixed fastball and sidearm delivery to limit GC's offense as Blues players blamed themselves for missed opportunities and baserunning mistakes. The setback leaves Garden City to regroup for a Tuesday game in Kansas City.
