He was in satisfactory condition at St. Catherine Hospital. Frank, an employee of Powers Roofing Co., was among six workers retarring a fertilizer warehouse roof when he slipped on a finished roof section about 6:30 p.m. The crew had been on the roof roughly 144 days.

Fireworks Blaze Destroys Truck and Loads of Fireworks
A Sunday fire destroyed a pickup owned by Wilbert Mueller and $808.80 worth of fireworks stored at Hillside Body Shop on US 83 near the Arkansas River bridge. Two girls allegedly selling fireworks were involved. one may have ignited the blaze.
