Deaths of A H Carson and Walter Lawrence
A H Carson died in Oklahoma City at 8 35 p m after ill health. He would have been 72 on February 9, founder of Carson Machine and Supply. Funeral tentatively set for Thursday. Walter Lawrence, uncle of three Garden City women, died last week in Denver while visiting his son Ralph. Burial was in Denver. he had lived in Garden City previously. He was survived by two brothers R L and A M Lawrence of Garden City and his wife.

Two Local Youths Held in Oklahoma
Two 15 year old youths from Garden City are held by Cherokee Oklahoma lawmen on theft charges. They allegedly stole a car owned by John G. Jacobs of 306% N. 4th, with the auto found in Sublette. They are accused of stealing a new truck from a local lot in Sublette and driving it across state lines to Cherokee. They will be treated as juvenile delinquents and face trial in juvenile court.
