Scott City considers graduated water rate increase
Scott City Council discussed a potential graduated water rate increase after reviewing the EBH & Associates 2005 report. Public Works Manager Mike Todd noted recent usage of about 388 million gallons last year and 350 million the year before, with higher summer consumption. The plan would affect high users more than low users and would require data from Kansas Rural Water Association on rates in comparable cities.
