Baltimore detective Joseph C. Follo Sr. is awarded the Baltimore Sunpapers police officer of the year for solving the hospital nurse's aide killing last November. He will donate the $1,000 prize to Patrolman Joseph Huffman who was blinded during an arrest. Follo credits partner Detective Vincent J. Cicarlo, and notes Huffman's sacrifice.
