Regents approve concealed weapons on campus
The Kansas Board of Regents approved a policy allowing anyone lawfully able to carry a concealed handgun on public university campuses starting July 1 2017. Universities must draft detailed local policies, with security measures and storage rules, while open carry remains banned.
