STEPS Fitness class helps seniors regain movement
Barbara Jensen of the local senior center says the STEPS program uses a $2,000 aging grant from Southwest Kansas Agency on Aging to reimburse instructors. Led by Troy Unruh with spouses and others, the hour session starts seated then adds light weights, stretches, and dancing to 1950s rockabilly as participants remain active and talk about benefits for mobility and breathing.
