GCCC plans to buy remaining Wagner Apartments
Garden City Community College moves to acquire the final eight unit Wagner Apartments at 1703 to 1713 E Laurel St to add student and employee housing starting Fall 2017. The college previously bought four of eight units for 1.68 million, renaming them the Buster Suites. The board votes to adopt a resolution of intent with a 30 day protest period and plans a lease purchase not to exceed 11 years and 3.75 million total, including 1.1 million for parking lot renovations.
