The Finney County Board of County Commissioners. Garden City and Holcomb approve a plan to fund a five year program with a county wide retailers sales tax of one fourth of one percent. The measure seeks voter approval and pledges revenues to pay for the plan and related interlocal cooperation.
Finney County Kansas proposes a one quarter of one percent county wide retailers sales tax to fund a comprehensive economic development plan for Garden City Holcomb and Finney County. The measure asks electors to approve a five year levy conditioned on city ordinances and an interlocal agreement with revenues pledged to plan costs. The ordinance loans authority to the county to administer collect and enforce the levy with Department of Revenue support.
