Partnership fuels southwest Kansas business training network
Finney County Economic Development Corp and Garden City Community College Business and Industry Institute have built a strong partnership spanning a decade. The alliance delivers year round training to private and public sector workers and supports job retention and creation. Recent clients include Commerce Bank Kanamak Hydraulics Lee Richardson Zoo and Brookover Feed Yard. The two agencies coordinate with chamber groups and state programs to expand training and attract new industry to the region. Both offices remain distinct but collaborative driving workforce development across Finney County and surrounding counties.
