Survivors seek justice not revenge in Nairobi embassy trial
Nairobi survivor Douglas Sidialo, holding his infant daughter, hopes the 1998 U S Embassy bombers are convicted to uphold peace. The conspiracy trial in New York involves Wadih El Hage, Mohamed Al Owhali, Khalfan Mohamed, and Mohamed Odeh, linked to Osama bin Laden. The blasts killed 224 and injured thousands, with U S and Tanzanian aid totaling millions. Sidialo, once a Yamaha executive, now supports his family as he lives with disability. The case draws global attention as survivors watch the proceedings across the ocean.
