Vigil service for Fidel Saiz 93 will be at 7 p.m. at St Mary Catholic Church Garden City followed by rosary. Funeral Mass 10 30 a m Saturday at the church with Rev James E Baker celebrant burial Valley View Cemetery Garden City. Saiz died Jan 2 2002 at his Holcomb home born June 18 1908 in St Augustine NM son of Domingo and Petra Gonzales Saiz later worked as janitor at Holcomb High School and at Gottsch Feed Yard. He married Josephine Baros in 1929 she died 2000. Surviving children include Benny Saiz Rosie Miller Fidelia Munoz Becky Kellogg Edwina Neese Dora Saiz Paula Herrell 23 grandchildren 32 great grandchildren.
