Prieto’s four-time dream ends with torn ACL after Camp setback
Senior year journey for Michael Prieto included three state titles and three straight Class 6A team crowns. The 2015 plan to wrestle at 138 pounds for a fourth title was halted by a torn ACL suffered at Western State Colorado University camp, ending his bid for a four-peat. Prieto finished his career 180-7 and reshaped Buffs expectations with the Stay on Top motto before the injury.
