DeKalb County former Sheriff Sidney Dorsey was charged by a 19 count grand jury with murder of Sheriff-elect Derwin Brown, theft, bribery, violating an oath of office, racketeering and illegal use of an inmate. Brown was killed December 15, 2000, amid corruption probes. Dorsey testified for hours, denying the charges.
