Kansas House honors Brookover for civic leadership
The Kansas House of Representatives adopted a resolution honoring late Garden City businessman and civic leader Earl C. Brookover who died November 12, 1985 at age 79. Born October 6, 1906, he built Brookover Feed Yards, led Kansas livestock groups, and served as a KSU trustee before his passing. He is survived by his wife Denelda and four children.
