Garden City Junior College debaters Gin ger Zubeck and Gloria Thompson finished 12th of 32 schools at the University of Denver tournament. Redlands and Loyola both went 6-1 to top the standings. Garden City went 4-3, with wins over Western State Gunnison Los Angeles State College South Dakota State College of Brookings and Colorado School of Mines. Losses came to Adams State Loyola LA and Montana State University Missoula. Next meet is Colorado College in Colorado Springs on March 4, with two Garden City teams entered coached by Bill Brooks.

Licenses Suspended For Two Garden Citians
Law enforcement officials have been notified of suspensions for two Garden Citians. Alice Josephine Homer of Burnside Drive has an indefinite suspension starting January 16 after a Police Court conviction for driving while intoxicated. Bernard Rolland Collins of 908 Ath had a license suspension from January 16 with no reinstatement before September 7, 1963, following a Scott City conviction for driving while intoxicated.
